This free conference aims to empower women in AI and data science with technical sessions and networking opportunities, while welcoming participation from all.

The Run the World: AI Explorers Summer Camp is an immersive experience where high school students explore the power of AI, machine learning, and data science. Now hosted by the Data Science Initiative (DSI), this camp continues a strong tradition of bringing students to campus to engage with cutting-edge technology and real-world data.

Reflecting on a Year of Growth and Success at the Data Science Initiative

The Data Science Initiative had a successful 2024, with highlights including the WiADS Conference, a successful Spring Workshop on Generative AI, the launch of the AI Makerspace, and significant seed grants and fellowships. DSI also expanded its team and proposal efforts, setting the stage for even more innovation and collaboration in 2025.
